Description
Hard to believe its been almost 50 years since this album was originally released. The music and the sound on this record may not be everyone's cup of tea; but Walter Carlos (later to become Wendy Carlos) essentially normalized the use of synthesizers in popular music. Amazingly, the music and production does not sound dated like a lot of the "futuristic" and progressive music created around the same time.

On offer is the half-speed mastered CBS MasterSound audiophile version (HM 47194) released in 1981. Though released in many formats over the years, most fans and audiophiles believe this particular version and/or pressing to be the best and most faithful to the original recording. Quite hard to find now in sealed condition.
