Mega Rare LP of Wardell Gray Memorial Volume One (Prestige 7008 - mono) Original yellow and black labels with West 50th St. New York address, deep groove and RVG on both sides. Rare LP of the late tenor players Prestige sessions also features Al Haig, Roy Haynes, Sonny Criss, Art Farmer and others in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - actually not bad for one of these. The cover is in VG/VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear and clear tape (old) on the spine and top seam. There is also a very small bit of writing on the back liner. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at this price?
