Description
This is Prestige Records PRLP 7008, Wardell Gray Memorial Volume 1, a yellow fireworks, 446 W.50th St. N.Y.C., deep groove labeled original mono issue of this beautiful, classic LP issue, with RVG etched in the dead wax. The record is in strong VG+ condition, showing light marks on both sides. The record plays quietly, except for some light clicks audible at the end of side 2 track 1. The cover has much wear, split seams on the top and spine and tape or residue on all three sides. The labels are excellent,showing spindle marks but no damage. This would be a great initial "play" copy of this rare original Prestige issue. The records have been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
