Description

Here is a great 1949 release on the Columbia label (ML-4247). Eugene Ormandy conducts the Philadelphia Orchestra in a performance of Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky Cantata Op. 78. Featured vocal performces by Jennie Tourel and the Westminster Choir. In original Andy Warhol cover art jacket. This is the rarer variation with a green background scheme, instead of the standard blue. Early press of record with older six-eye stereo design and 1H/1C stampers.
