Warhorse – Red Sea 1972 Vertigo swirl 6360066 1st press 1Y-2Y matrices
Rare opportunity to get your hands on Warhorse's second album, released in 1972 on the famous Vertigo swirl label, and featuring Nick Simper, ex-Deep Purple. Copies of this have sold for £££ on eBay.
Vinyl plays considerably better than it looks – there are marks and some surface scratches but none are feelable, and the worst impact on your audio experience are the odd pop and some background crackle during quieter sections. Play grades Very Good.
Gatefold sleeve has considerable spine wear, and there is writing in several places on the inner gatefold (see photos). Feathering to edges but not too bad. Grades Good to Very Good.
Side A label is VG+, Side B label nearer Good+ due to some writing.
Plain white inner (new).
Original German first press.
Great opportunity to pick up this superb early Seventies hard rock/prog classic at a bargain price.
