CHARACTERISTICS OF DISK & COVER: (1) Japan only LP & original 1 st issue; hard to find even in Japan (no CD reissue in the world including Japan), (2) Audiophile high quality disk whose recording sound was mastered with the use of 76 cm/sec master tapes , which record musical signals at two times higher speed than  a normal speed master tape and as a result  improve S/N ratio and dynamic range and sound definition etc (really recommendable sound quality; especially bass & cymbal or brushing sounds are great) , (3) original East World label of Black / Red circle used, (4) Japanese critic commentary paper insert attached, (5)disk weight app. 115g;  original thin cardboard cover weight app. 90g, (6) OBI in imperfect shape by cutting off (just app. 80% of its front side exists & other parts missing)

DISK CONDITION: VG++  (very lustrous vinyl ; clean labels; Side 1 label has some visible but mini-sized spindle holes, and Side 2 label has only a spindle hole mark or two; and according to playing test, only some faint and mini background noise;    reproduced sound quality  is excellent!!)

JACKET CONDITION: VG++ ( some mini crinkles or wear in spots, but  otherwise NM)

JAPANESE CRITIC COMMENT PAPER INSERT CONDITION: VG++ (in nice shape, but some faintly yellowish or crinkle parts)

ANTISTATIC PLASTIC INNER SLEEVE CONDITION: VG+(crinkly)

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Very sophisticated performance of jazz music (including three Tristano works) by musicians from  Lennie Tristano school! This recording date not only shows us the  virtuosity and artistry of  two great saxophonists (Gary Foster more often produces bop phrases than Warne), but also succeeds in giving Alan Broadbent one of the best jazz opportunities (I love his piano trio in this tense setting  much more than in his leader recordings ). We owe this happiness to producer Toshiko Akiyoshi. Enjoy their best playing with high quality disk sound!
