Beautiful original U.S. pressing of this tremendous jazz LP. Warne Marsh - "Warne Marsh." Atlantic 1291.  Fantastic jazz date from 1958.  Marsh in quintet setting with legends Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones, as well as cult favorite Ronnie Ball on piano and Paul Motian on bass.  Tunes include Yardbird Suite, Too Close For Comfort, It's All Right With Me and Just Squeeze Me. Vinyl is NM and looks unplayed (except for the spot play grading for this listing). LP plays great -- as new, NM. "A" stamper indication in matrix.  The cover is beautiful and is in NM condition.  One barely noticeble pin hole bottom right (see photo).  Front and back graphics are great.  No splits or fraying on edges.

A top, collectible copy. Archiveable and likely as nice a total package as you will find for this title.



LP comes from a 35+ year collection of meticulously-maintained and loved jazz and classical LPs of an established east coast collector.  LPs were collected over a life time with an eye towards condition, musicality and relative rarity, with top condition copies typically sought out.

The soundstage on these LPs will be rich, with great background and space.  Music will be upfront, full bodied and crystal clear -- the way only vinyl can sound
