LOONEY TUNES/MERRIE MELODIES Warner Bros. Series, "Loss Leaders" Promotional Series 3 Vinyl LPs 1970 Early Pressing
These records are in M- condition.  The cover is G+, but very close to VG. 
This is one of Warner Bros. (and Reprise's) larger promotional releases in their "Loss Leaders" series.  The series features artists from Warner Bros. impressive army of signed performers.  It was meant to promote these singers, many of which needed little promoting.  Most were or are major names in the entertainment world.  Among others on these records are: Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, Ry Cooder, Randy Newman, Little Richard, Gordon Lightfoot, Arlo Guthrie, The Beach Boys, Alice Cooper, Frank Zappa, James Taylor and the Persuasions....and many more   
The reason WB titled the series "Loss Leaders" was not only to raise the curiosity of listeners about the performers, but also because all the selections chosen for the recordings were largely obscure  performances by the musicians.
These resulting LPs are a fascinating musical experience.  Adding to the fascination, the liner notes reveal a good amount of obscure information about the artists.  The 8-page  booklet is entertaining reading.
