Most of these were bought between 1980 and 2005 either in used record stores, garage sales, thrift stores, or from other collectors. These are not from a non smoking home, and are not from a pet free home either.
This is my personal collection and am selling them now in retirement. These have not been play tested in over ten years, and will need to be cleaned more than likely. They should play as they appear, but they have not been play tested. All LP auctions are sold “as is” with no refunds, unless I am obviously grossly negligent in my description of an item. If you feel this is the case, please write me first so we can settle before opening a case with eBay. We ship within 2 business days of receiving payment, Monday through Friday only. We ship Media Mail, and will provide you with tracking within 24 hours of item being shipped. They are either sent in LP mailer boxes from Bags Unlimited, or for the larger auctions, a large heavy duty box, every purchase will be wrapped in bubble wrap, and albums will be sleeved in Lp sleeves, and I take great care in packing for shipping. I am well aware of what’s rare and valuable among these auctions, therefore rare albums in pristine condition will have the Lp taken out of the jacket to avoid seam splitting during shipping.

I generally grade any nice condition album to be VG+ so you get a nice surprise when they arrive
“A Country Star Is Born” by Jesse Coulter. This is a really nice copy of her 1969 debut, except there is writing on the deep groove orange RCA label, and writing on her neck on the front cover in permanent marker. Luckily, it kind of blends in with her hair a bit. Bottom left corner has some discoloration and chipping, otherwise just minor discoloration here and there, and early aging, overall really nice cover. Disc is high gloss with minimal play and handling.
“I’m Jesse Coulter” is a red label deep groove first edition in overall excellent condition. Minimal play, handling, and storage on jacket.
“Diamond In The Rough” has some discoloration on the corners, seams, and top front, there are some small bends here and there, red label, not a deep groove, minimal play and handling wear on high gloss disc
“Jesse” is a very nice red label first edition, with little play and handling on high gloss red label deep groove first edition disc, thick stock cover has minimal storage handling.
“Ridin’ Shotgun” is VG+ by Goldmine Standard, purple label Capitol
“There’s A Way A Cowboy Rocks N’ Rolls’ is in VG++ condition by Goldmine standard
“The One And Only Waylon Jennings” has a crisp Ex- cover, thick stock , MONO Camden (Rarer) , really bright and crisp, deep groove multi blue mono first edition label disc is also in nice condition, with some play and handling.
“Hangin’ On” LSP3918 has paper loss on left front both upper, and in the bottom corner, and has disc imprint from storage, bottom left corner is giving out, water damage on back, right side near opening, probably 5-6 inches total, with paper loss, some chipping on seams and spine is minimal, high gloss dynogroove first edition deep groove label disc has no WOL, and has some play and handling, but is fine overall, no deep scratches that I can feel, and has good shine and luster. Only surface.
“Folk Country” is the orange label RCA Victor 2nd or 3rd edition, it is not a deep groove, but is not dino-flex either. Good high gloss, minimal play and handling on disc. No WOL. Cover has some barely visible bending on the bottom right corner, about 2.5 inches, minor discoloration on seams and spine, this cover stock is probably the same used on the first edition.
“Lonesome, On’ry, And Mean” has some ringwear on cover, discoloration on seams and spine , orange label is flat not a deep groove and is Dynoflex vinyl with high gloss and play and handling.
“The Best Of Waylon Jennings” has a solid cover with more indentation from Lp storage, but not actual ringwear, minimal chipping on corners, it has two copies of the disc, both later black label RCA , one has the deep groove, one doesn’t, both are nice with minimal play and handling.
“Greatest Hits” is the embroidered cover, minimal aging, corners discolored, and minor discoloration on seams and spine in spots, back cover has two tape removeal wounds, but not horrible. Disc is high gloss blue custom label, minimal play and handling.
“The Ramblin’ Man” is a tan label flat not deep groove, with some spindle wear on the play-hole, disc is nice high gloss with minimal play and handling. Cover is crisp and tight, minimal aging and minimal discoloration on seams/spine.
“Ol’ Waylon” has a nice cover, but disc has play and handling, probably VG+, overall nice copy. Late 70s or 80s black label RCA.
“Are You Ready For The Country’ is a tan label RCA flat label, not a deep groove, Gatefold cover is intact with aging and discoloration, disc has some play and handling, overall VG+ copy, but probably nicer.
“Waylon & Jesse” has some minor discoloration spots on seams and spines, and a small cut out bin mark on opening sleeve in bottom corner, high gloss though. Disc is high gloss, very nice, minimal play and handling.
“Love Of The Common People” LSP 3825 is a deep groove RCA dynogroove first edition stereo copy in probably VG++++++++ condition, light play and handling on disc, high gloss, no WOL, Cover is nice, has imprint from LP being stored inside it, but not really ringwear, aside from a faint 2cm patch on top front that might be said to be ringwear, small 1.3cm paper chip on bottom seam, otherwise, minor discoloration on seams and spine. Really beautiful first edition of this album in my opinion.
“Ladies Love Outlaws” has an EX cover, and Ex disc, but is a black label 70s pressing, cover is the thick stock that would have been used on the oragne label original, really crisp.
“Leaving Town” is a deep groove RCA first stereo edition, with some play and handling on high gloss disc, no WOL , cover has minimal discoloration on spines and seams, otherwise, just great crisp cover and overall nice disc.
“Jewels” Canadian, the label is a deep groove RCA dog on top, but the “DYNOGROOVE” is in HUGE letters on the bottom, and Living Stereo as well! Cover is really crisp, only minimal discoloration on the corners, really nice copy of the album.
“Only The Greatest” has a nice Ex- cover, and a high gloss orange label deep groove RCA label disc with only minimal play and handling.
“Nashville Rebel’ sadly is re-issue, high gloss orange label RCA Victor label, flat, not a deep groove, minimal play and handling , cover is really crisp, cut out bin on front bottom right cover.
“Heartaches By The Number” VG cover, VG+ disc Camden. No biggie.
“Country Folk - Waylon Jennings & The Kimberlys” the album that got him on the map with a Grammy for ‘McCarthur Park”. Cover is thick stock heavy duty original, great condition, beuticul, .5 cm bend on bottom right corner, disc is high gloss lovely orange label RCA flat, not a deep groove. Minimal play and handling. Lovely copy.
“Waylon Sings Ol’ Harlan” Disc has good shine, but has a lot of surface markings. I would compare this to what an Elvis collector might grade a VG+ copy if being liberal on the goldmine starndard? Not sure , because I can sort of feel some of the scuff marks, but they don’t’ seem deep. I do think if this album didn’t play alright, I would have replaced it as I like Harlan? Anyway, we’ll call it VG to be safe, it is mono. Cover is pretty nice , but has a lot of aging and chipping on seams and spine, corners giving out, no splits or cracks yet
“Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love To Town” is probably VG+ condition by Goldmine standard.
“Waylon” is a deep groove RCA vinyl (not dino-flex) edition, with some play and handling, don’t see or feel anything deep, high gloss, nice shine, don’t see any WOL. Cover has a tear/gouge about .6 cm on the center of back opening, corners giving out, some chipping on seams/spine, large chip about 3cm on bottom left corner, otherwise, fairly nice edition.
