Description

From my personal collection, here is a scarce vintage jazz LP featuring Wayne Shorter on the BLUE NOTE label, from 1964.  Title is “JUJU”.   Catalog number is BST 84182.  Original stereo pressing.    

 

Vinyl is medium thick, does not have deep groove.  Matrix number is hand etched, “VAN GELDER” is machine stamped in trailoff, with "ear" symbol on both sides. 

 

Label address is “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC * NEW YORK USA” on both sides.

 

Jacket has "For Complete Catalog Write to BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23” on reverse at bottom. 

 

Personnel consists of the following:   Wayne Shorter-tenor sax;  McCoy Tyner-piano;  Reginald Workman– bass;  Elvin Jones– drums.

Jacket:   Close to M-!!  No ringwear.  Some very slight browning near top front and some minor wear to a couple corners.  The back shows no signs of aging.  A very well preserved jacket!!   No writing or splits....

 

Vinyl:  Vinyl is also close to M-.  Played with care...Bright and shinny with some very faint hairline marks and a few superficial scuffs.  No deep marks.  Plays great..I heard just 3 or 4 faint ticks upon playback.   An extreamly nice copy of this hard to find original LP!

 

Also included is the original printed Blue Note Records inner sleeve.
