Original stereo first pressing LP from 1965! Record looks unplayed!!! The labels are nice and clean. seams on the cover are still perfectly intact! TOP condition

For so many reasons, the most obvious is the incredible voice and styles of Bev Bevins, "You Were on My Mind" is without a doubt the best album by any group of the period. Their broad range of music selection, uniqueness of arrangements, vocals, harmonies and pure musical talent fired a broadside into the standard musical fare of the period.

Although perhaps the greatest folk song of all time (and yes, that includes Dylan), "You Were On My Mind," written by Sylvia Fricker of "Ian & Sylvia" fame (Canadian Music Hall of Fame folkies known for their signature 60's tune, "Four Strong Winds") is not the only reason to buy We Five's debut disc. Check out the melodic melancholy of jazz pianist Vince Guraraldi's 1962 composition and lyricist Carel Werber's, "Cast Your Fate to the Wind." Bev Bivens was THE best folk singer of the decade, and I would argue of the last 50 years, including women AND men.
