Description
1. Introduction:
Hello everyone,
this is not the average auction you might think it is. This is part 7 of the Alzheimer's disease charity campaign I have been issuing earlier this month. From today (Aug 1st; 8 pm GMT+1) for the upcoming 7 weeks I'll be doing auctions of mostly sold-out copies of vinyl by Sydney post rockers We Lost The Sea. 100 % of the money (taxes and shipping substracted) will be donated to the non-profit organization 'Alzheimer's Association' based in the US. This money will also go into scientific research, helping to find a cure for this disease. Note: This copy does not come washed and/or with additional MoFi master sleeves unlike previous auctions done in the past.
2. About this auctions in general:
? Auctions will be on for 7 days, starting bid for all records will be 10,00 €.
? Total sum will be donated after all auctions have ended and are shipped.
? Receipt will be posted to my socials (@vinyl.machine) and/or the blog (see link below) page thereafter.
? Records purchased within the the series of auctions will ship within 3 working days after payment.
? Shipping everywhere on this planet (tracked/insured shipping mandatory)
? This copy is limited to 500 copies and sold out for quite a while.
? This is the first pressing of Departure Songs done by the label's own pressing plant Dunk!Pressing, on 180 g vinyl.
? Total value of all records ~ 574 € (median); ~ 740 € (highest).

3. FYI - SHIPPING
For german customers: They pay 6,99 € of shipping.
Good news! DHL has re-introduced their cheaper shipping option to USA, Canada and Australia
For Europeans and USA/Australia/Canada, as well as any other country on this planet: They pay 22,50 € (insurance up to 50 €, tracked option)
NEW: European/EU auction winners might receive a partial refund for shipping as the "shipping worldwide" price listed here of 22,50 € is calculated particuarly for regions afar. * Can't guarantee a refund as both prices could potentially be the same, but I'll have it checked for you.
4. About this record:
? Purchased back in 2020 from We Lost The Sea's bandcamp store, taken care by Bird's Robe Records (first owner);
? Never been played (unplayed).
? In addition to previous editions this copy includes the five HQ prints (two of them are pictured).
5. Additional information:
This campaign is in no way associated with the band and/or any other music label. I bought all of these copies out of my own pocket from the label and/or band directly. I don't want social media fame for it, asking you to like my posts, share a link, etc. It's all up to you. I'm still one of those mentally unaffected by like / follower figures and shares. I just thought I might be able to make a difference here as an individual. Especially in recent times within the vinyl community where people only seem after the margins of buying limited edition vinyl copies and reselling them in no time. Please do enjoy both record shopping and helping fight Alzheimer’s disease here.
