I'm getting older, and my body's starting to fall apart, so it's time to part with some of my collection. Offered for your consideration is this demo 45 by We the People: In the Past/St. John's Shop.
Disc looks like an 7.5 on the Osborne scale, or VG+ Goldmine to me. However, the flip side has more prominent scratch/scuffing but it doesn't affect play. Have to downgrade the disc as a whole to *VG*. But, if you're only interested in "In the Past" you don't really care what the flip looks like. Label has that radio mark and date stamp. Some label ring wear on the higher inner area. No label chips or tears.
The usual surface noise on the dead wax areas. Ears younger and better than mine may detect it during playback, but I wouldn't bet on it. Let's face it: we've ALL heard this record. With the machine-gun guitar and near-continuous cymbals throughout, pretty much all high frequency surface noise will be masked.
A few words about shipping. Now that PayPal forces sellers to have delivery confirmation to prevent lost claims I will only use services that provide tracking. In the US that means media rate w/confirmation or Priority Mail. For ANYWHERE else it means USPS Express Mail International. My experiences with international mail (particularly the UK Royal Mail) have been problematic recently and I've had to use the tracking more than once. Sorry, but I can't afford to take losses because of carrier incompetence or deliberate fraud by unscrupulous buyers. Yes, I know it's expensive, but unless you are willing to put in writing that you waive all PayPal buyer protection that's how it is.
As for returns, I don't offer them. My feedback is 100% and I grade conservatively using both Goldmine and Jerry Osborne standards. If you receive the item and disagree with my grading please let me know. Since grading is very subjective, I will try to make us both satisfied. Payment expected within 7 days.
