Weill Threepenny Opera Klemperer NZ Columbia SAXM
Otto Klemperer conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra in a performance of Kurt Weill’s Suite from “The Threepenny Opera”, and also Klemperer’s own “Merry Waltz”. A rare New Zealand stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAXM 2460), the labels are blue/green with silver radio waves and border. The record is of very good appearance, and it plays and sounds superb but with some low-level surface noise. The cover has rubbed with a ring and is grubby on the back with a ring and a name in pen.
