Description

Here is a VERY COOL and VERY RARE record from the master of the Parody... "Weird Al" Yankovic!


This is a rare Promotional Copy, US pressing of Weird AL Yankovic's self titled first release. Best of all the record cover is signed by the man himself - Weird Al Yankovic!!!!


There is a gold "Promotional Copy" stamp over the barcode on the back of the cover. "Weird" Al's signature is featured front and center on the cover. 


CONDITION

Keep in Mind this record is over 30 years old

  • The record is in excellent condition, I can only see one small surface scratch on side 2. Aside from that it looks amazing. 
  • The cover has some minor wear. There is some wear around the edges and and corners. There are also a couple small creases on the back side. 

I was lucky enough to me "Weird" Al back in the mid 90s when he was doing some promo for the "Bad Hair Day" album. He stopped by the "Sam Goody" music store at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. I have included a few pictures of him from that signing. I was able to get a few records signed and I am ready to part ways with this one.

I have been a Music collector for 30+ years and It's time for me to part with my collection and pass these items off to someone new to enjoy.
