Description
Up for bid is an extremely rare LP, "Spirit Man," by Weldon Irvine. See pictures for song list. This is not a cut out item, has no holes, notches, or cut corners. This was released by RCA (APL1-0909-B) in 1975. LP is VG++, with several tiny faint scuffs on either side and no spindle wear. Interior labels are extremely clean. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. LP plays with light surface noise (some crackle and tics). Most if not all the surface noise should be removed with a professional cleaning. This is a beautiful copy of this original LP! Jacket is VG+, with a seam split along the bottom seam. This starts at the bottom of the mouth of the jacket and travels toward the spine about 3 1/2 inches. All seams and corners show wear. There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There appears to be two sets of staple marks on the top and bottom of the mouth (see pictures). There is light creasing along the spine. the paste on artwork on the back of the jacket has started to separate on the back near the bottom of the mouth (see pictures). All that said, this is still a very nice addition to any funk / soul LP collection! An original copy of this LP doesn't show up very often - don't miss out of this very hard to find gem!
