Description

Wendy Rene vinyl single titled "After Laughter Comes Tears" /Shes moving away on the Stax record label 1964.

This 7" vinyl record is a classic example of vintage rare soul music, perfect for collectors and fans of this genre and especially of interest to all the Classic Hip hop sample collectors out there.

Rarely comes available in the UK for sale.

Closest for sale in the US is up for sale at £230 inc postage / customs import taxes.

Famously sampled by the Wu Tang Clan on the track “Tearz” off their classic enter the Wu tang album.

Condition is G+/VG-, some minor surface light scratches observed but plays very well especially the main side Laughter after comes tears. The B-Side has more marks.
Observed a very small chip out of the run in dead wax which is shown on the pictures, did not effect play when I played it.

This rare and in demand 45 was re-released a few years ago and sells even at reissued price up to £100.

Grab yourself the original OG version from 1964, a true hip hop collectors samplers and beat heads holy grail.
