Wes Craven's Shocker (The Music) (SCARCE 1989 Australian pressed promotional 10-track 12” Vinyl LP Soundtrack album issued thru SBK Records ?– SBK 793233) Shocker was a 1989 Wes Craven film about a serial killer who gets transformed into an energy being that can possess other people's bodies. Apparently it was hoped to be the start of a new horror franchise like Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street, but it didn't work out. The soundtracks were going to be all heavy metal, but since the franchise didn't happen there is only the one - the music soundtrack to Wes Craven's 'Shocker (No More Mr Nice Guy)', with recordings by The Dudes Of Wrath, Iggy Pop, Megadeth, Bonfire, Saraya, Dangerous Toys, Voodoo X and Dead On, housed in picture jacket with ‘SAMPLE RECORD NOT FOR SALE’ sticker on rear in near mint condition.

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
