Description
For auction is "West Coast Jazz," on Norgran MG N-1032, MONO, DG, 1955. Featuring Stan Getz, Shelly Manne, Leroy Vinegar, Conte Candoli, Lou Levi.
SOUND: VG+/NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Wow! This playback will knock your socks off! The only imperfection is the presence of a few teenie-weenie tics in A1, "East Of The Sun," and a few elsewhere. Nothing distracting. That's it. So, not perfect, but pretty darn good! Strong, solid, beautiful sound!
VINYL: VG+
The vinyl is exceptionally clean. The only real imperfection is a tiny (barely) feel-able mark in B2, "A Night In Tunisia." I re-listened to this section, a could hear a few minor tics, but not big deal. There is a longer scuff on side B, but it appears entirely superficial. To repeat, the record plays beautifully! The deep-grooved, yellow Norgran labels are in excellent shape, with faint spindle marks, and a touch or wear in the deep-groove side A.
JACKET: VG+
Bottom edge is split the last three inches to the lower right corner. All else is solid and good condition. The corners have a little bumping, not too bad. The front and back are both clean and unmarked, with only minimal routine wear or aging. There is a soft bend across the lower front, right corner.

This copy is in exceptional condition and plays like a dream! No reserve, bidding starts at $50.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
