Description

Hi!  You're looking at an excellent condition, EXTREMELY RARE record which is an ORIGINAL ISSUE, FIRST PRESSING copy on the Westminster label featuring THE BARYLLI QUARTET, which was issued in 1953--it was pressed on HEAVY VINYL, is a high fidelity monophonic issue with "Natural Balance" sound, and bears the serial number WL 5211.  The LP is in NEAR MINT- condition with beautiful vinyl that has just a couple of very light paper scuffs that should not affect play, and a NM- condition cover with a small piece of reinforcing tape on the center of the spine, a small sticker tear in the upper right corner of the front cover, a slight split in the center of the bottom edge, and light edgewear.  The record features brilliant performance of two String Quartets by LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN:   String Quartet in D Major, Opus 18, No. 3, and String Quartet in C Minor, Opus 18, No. 4.  The performances are by THE BARYLLI QUARTET, which features members WALTER BARYLLI, 1st Violin; OTTO STRASSER, 2nd Violin; RUDOLPH STRENG, viola; and RICHARD KROTSCHAK, cello.
