So I (and 15,000 other people) got to replace Robert Plant as lead vocalist while Jimmy Page, larger than life, iconic double-necked Gibson in place, played "Stairway To Heaven" live onstage before my very eyes. Did I mention this was from the FRONT ROW? I matched the climactic solo note-for-note on my air guitar. It was truly one of most profound musical moments of my life. I can almost hear it now...
Actually, I am hearing it now. Because when we all poured out of the hall, I turned around the corner only to see a large truck with a "Westwood One" logo on the side! Yes, that show was the source of the Westwood One Superstar Concert Series broadcast of Jimmy Page for November 25, 1988. Wouldn't you know, that 3-LP set now has a special place on the shelf in my record collection.
Three record set In Near Mint condition, no scratches or damage and includes all the segments from the radio broadcast.
A wonderful piece of rock n roll history!
