Description
Up for grabs is an extremely rare record. You are bidding on the Acid Rock / Psych masterpiece Bad Connection by Wheatstone Bridge!! This one is the original private pressing on the SanRon Records label, from 1976. Visually, I would grade the vinyl a VG with numerous light marks, likely from rubbing inside the jacket, but nothing that can be felt with your finger. Admittedly, it doesn't look pretty, but on my Dual TT with a SURE M44 cartridge, it sounded great and played through with no noise whatsoever. I would play grade it a strong VG+ or better.
Unfortunately, the LP jacket is a little rough with apparent ring wear. See photos for details. Structurally, it's still in good shape. The original inner sleeve is not included but the record will be mailed in a MoFi sleeve.
This album is listed in the 2nd edition of the Acid Archives with the following description by Aaron Milenski: "... impressive hard rock album ... fresh, inspired feel to it ... album is tightly played and professional sounding ... the sound is sharp: metallic rhythm guitar, upbeat rhythms, blistering spastic leads, no keyboards, unpretentious vocals ... this is good stuff ... songs aren't especially complex but they have hooks, are structured in occasionally surprising ways, and are short and to the point ... it avoids most of the pitfalls of 70's hard rock and is quite a bit better than most ...".
