Description
White Album The Beatles Stereo early 2nd pressing. Not first pressing because labels have "An EMI Recording" above speed (however, this phrase was very quickly added when it was realised it was missing off very first pressing) This is an early second pressing - no tax code and front cover does not have "stereo" on.(both added to later pressings) Front cover has "The Beatles" embossed on front and number in very pale letters , sloping down to right. Number is 0391287. later versions did not have the 0 at start. The gatefold sleeve is TOPLOADING (later pressings opened to side) and both disks are in BLACK inner linings
Original poster and photographs included. There are slight marks and small tears in poster at the folds(see pics) ** photographs all have names written on reverse and poster has various annotations** (see pics) I amended the lyrics on the poster because I was obsessed with things being correct and the lyric sheet was not exactly what they sang and also added jokey anecdotes to the pictures. I was a teenage girl when this album was bought for me by my parents and a lot of teenage girls did stuff like this at that time.
The record is from my own collection and as a Beatles fan from the early sixties even though I was young it was very well looked after but also well played.
Grading is always subjective especially on a disk more than 50 years old but I will give as accurate a description as I can.
Disks are bright and shiny. There are some surface scratches and marks and some crackling across the tracks on both disks due to age and wear. There is a slight jump on Ob La Di Ob La Da.
Using the GOLDMINE STANDARD I have graded the record overall as GOOD*

Gatefold sleeve is Toploading and has some wear but would rate Very Good.
