Description
The album is the US promo on V2 : VSADV-27256 only 300 were pressed (300 were also pressed on XL records for European market promos) i.e. only 600 copies worldwide. I have never played it and bought it purely as a collector’s item –. The record is not ‘mint’, this is a promo item, not intended for sale, hence, shipped without shrinkwrap/protection. There is a bit of edge wear, the corner is slightly bumped and there is a light crease on the cover, all of this is shown in the pictures. I would say Ex to Ex+ for the cover.
The vinyl, in my opinion, shows no sign of play; there are no spindle marks at all, there are some fingerprints on the edge (not mine) and some dust and slight paper scuffs – the inner sleeves are just the cheap paper type (which are mint). I would say, again, Ex to Ex+ for the vinyl.
For collectors, this is one of the ‘holy grail’ Jack White items – A 10th anniversary RSD (not very) limited version of this appeared last year, of which 1000’s were pressed and is still widely available….I’ll let you decide which version will accumulate in value most….
I’m thinning out my collection of stuff and need a bit of cash. Thanks for looking.
