Description
This auction is for White Stripes debut self titled "White Stripes" LP (SFTRI-577). Issued by Sympathy For the Record Industry in 1999. Pressed in black vinyl. Etching in run off groove is SFTRI-577. Record in excellent condition. Test pressings are made in very small quantities usually under 50 depending on the label. They are used to make sure the record is as it should be. Sometimes they are used by the label and distributor to promote the record to stores and reviewers in advance of the release date.
I've been dealing records for 20 years. During this time I've worked for labels, distributors and stores. I regularly sell at the (now) annual FMU record swap in NYC and go L.A. for buying odysseys frequently. I have set up at record swaps everywhere from Clackamas to Austin to Atlanta. It's time to clear out some gems. All offerings are graded hard and represented as accurately as possible. Check my feedback to see the proof.
