holy $#*! you have never seen this, i almost guarantee it. when the stripes were releasing elephant, they sent out the advances on vinyl! everybody thought that was awesome, but not only did they do that, they limited advances (typically made in the thousands) to, depending on whom you believe, 300 or 500 copies. according to their own website, the UK pressing (this one is North American) was limited to 500 copies. the difference between the two is the size of the typeface, the North American version being much larger.


so, wow, huh? yes, all of the songs on the album are here, split across two 12"s. and yes, it is a beautiful set. this has never, ever been played (it was a very special gift to me) and has only been handled by human hands a very, very small amount. it, did however, in being filed on my record shelf, receive a few beauty marks on the jacket. I did my best to show them in the picture. no tears, but one corner did get a little ding (top picture). there is also a small scratch just above the word stripes. it looks somewhat yellowish in the photo, i assume because i took a super close-up. the jacket actually looks like the other photos, very red, and very white. no yellow.

you want it right? did i mention it has never been played? insane! these are, obviously, obscenely rare, and trade for between 150 and 200 US. my reserve is much lower. it will be very well packed, and sent to you by whatever service you choose.
