On offer here is:
The White Stripes promotional pre-release of Elephant on double 12" vinyl. Also included with this item is the press release that was sent to publications & radio stations along with the record detailing the release and a brief story of how the album came together. There was only 500 copies of this record made available and was never available for general sale. It was supplied as a promotional release on vinyl strictly to radio stations etc. in a bid to slow down copies being shared before the release date. John Peel famously played his copy of this record back to back when he received his.
I have not once played these records once so the records are in mint condition I would rate the items included as:
Records: 10/10
Inner sleeves: 10/10
Press release: 10/10
Cover / Sleeve: 9/10
I marked the cover down as there is the faintest crease (not a fold by any means) on the top left corner, you may be able to see this with a magnifying glass if you study the second picture close enough. I must add that this is so very faint and not a fold on the card. You really have to look hard to notice so please don't let this put you off - I am just trying to make it as clear as possible for any collectors / prospective bidders.
As mentioned above, only 500 copies of this record exist and most will live forever in the basement of radio stations so grab a copy while you can.
I will post securely between card and in the protective plastic sleeve that the records have always been stored in.
I imagine postage should be no more than £3.
