Who ORIG UK LP Who’s next EX ’71 Track 2408102 Hard rock Pete Townshend
Original UK LP released in 1971 on Track Records. Cat: 2408102.Much of Who's Next derives from Lifehouse, an ambitious sci-fi rock opera Pete Townshend abandoned after suffering a nervous breakdown, caused in part from working on the sequel to Tommy. There's no discernable theme behind these songs, yet this album is stronger than Tommy, falling just behind Who Sell Out as the finest record the Who ever cut. Townshend developed an infatuation with synthesizers during the recording of the album, and they're all over this album, adding texture where needed and amplifying the force, which is already at a fever pitch.
Tracks : Baba O’Riley/ Bargain/ Love ain’t for keeping/ My wife/ Song is over/ Getting in tune/ Going mobile/ Behind blue eyes/ Won’t get fooled again. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause some light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ringwear and marks and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
