 The vinyl on this double historic record is excellent - Graded VVG.   The cover is also excellent with good construction, gloss, edges and corners.  Album comes with the original thick booklet containing lyrics, in excellent condition.  Over all the package has only the most minor of imperfections and has a very new feel.

Quadrophenia is the sixth studio album by the English rock band The Who. Released on 19 October 1973, by Track, Polydor in the United Kingdom and Track and MCA in the United States, Quadrophenia is a double album, and the group's second rock opera. Its story involves social, musical, and psychological happenings from an English teenage perspective, set in London and Brighton in 1964 and 1965.

The name is a variation on the popular usage of the medical diagnostic term schizophrenia as dissociative identity disorder to reflect the four distinct personalities of Jimmy, the opera's protagonist—each said to represent the personality of one member of The Who.

Quadrophenia was originally released as a two-LP set with a butterfly jacket and a thick booklet containing lyrics, a text version of the story, and photographs illustrating the tale, which is offered here.

Pete Townshend now looks back on the album with great praise. "The music is the best music that I've ever written, I think, and it's the best album that I will ever write."

Mint / New / Sealed - Never played .  Still in original sealed plastic.

Near Mint- Record itself looks new, appears to have never been played

VVG    Record itself looks new.  May have very superficial imperfections (light smudging, seen under light angle reflection) , not affecting the playing or sound of the record.

VG++ -  The album may show some slight signs of wear, light scuffs, very light scratches, that do not affect listening experience. 

VG+   The album will show some slight signs of wear, light scuffs, very light scratches, that may affect the listening experience, especially at low volume times.  There will be no skips. 

VG    Will have obvious signs of wear, lack of original gloss.  Light scratches that may be audible.  Does not skip on my system.

Good - Will probably have scratches or defects that are audible.  Records may be warped.  There could be skipping and /or loud pops.    

All attempts will be made to list other imperfections of the cover such as liquid damage, split seams, tears. missing pieces or other damage in the description.

All 12” vinyl records will ship media mail.  At buyers request most (but not all) single 12” records can ship 1st class mail at no additional charge.  1st class mail may allow the record to arrive a day or two faster especially on the West Coast.  1st class shipping must weigh less then 14oz so what is forfeited is extra packing protection, so I can‘t be responsible for broken records (which seldom happens, but can).  Again, all will ship media mail unless requested by the buyer.
