Talk about Rare Monster records!  Yeah, this is probably one of the most obscure ever from San Antonio. and to find one in M/M condition is just unheard of!  Actually, I found a couple, so I am feeling especially lucky (I think I will book the next flight to Vegas!).  Just amazing to find one of these things. These guys were metal before metal was a thing in San Antonio. It's got that NWOBHM kind of feel to it, like maybe some Angelwitch meets Iron Maiden meets Moxy. It's where the 70's were saying goodbye and metal was creeping in to the scene, but the 70's were still hanging on in their sound. Just a fantastic find, will probably NEVER see another one of these again...unless I find another one at the same place where I found this. Good luck to me. Bid accordingly!

If I haven't made the point entirely clear - I have seen more copies of San Antonio's legendary Militia LP up for sale than I have of this. I believe this little 45 is much harder to come by than Militia. Yes, I have an insane starting price on this, but that is because what you are bidding on is perhaps the single rarest 45 EVER from San Antonio's legendary metal scene (beginning around 1980).  This band may have been one of the first to start bringing the metal sound to the city, they just got lost in the shuffle and overshadowed by bands like Militia, SA Slayer, Metalis, etc.  I have heard these guys were playing shows with bands like Heyoka and Metalis, so they seemed to have been straddling the fence between metal and hard progressive rock. I think you can hear that hybrid sound here on this 45.  I can't say enough about this, it's got everything a collector wants - RARE as all hell, unique for the time sound and style, mystique, yeah, vibe - but mystery is a key here since NOTHING at all ever comes up on these guys when searching. It's a total lost relic but an important missing link between hard rock and metal for what was to become a Nationally recognized metal scene in San Antonio.

I have only a couple left and one I am keeping so this is probably one of the last times you will ever even see one of these again. I have been collecting Texas 45's and LP's since 1980 and I have NEVER once come across one of these, and I was looking!  The last auction for one of these that I ran, I sold it for $80.00 but I have it listed in a mail out (set sale) for $150.00 so if you are on the fence about bidding, maybe that will help you decide.

A word about my starting bid price, and/or if I use a reserve (this item has no reserve).  Please understand, although the idea is to find a bargain, certain things just have inherent value. It could be scarcity, it might be the content itself, or both. It could also be sentimental value, so a price may reflect the fact that the seller really expects a certain amount before he is comfortable with parting.  It's up to you if you feel that the item warrants your participation in the bidding process, but I am sure you do your own research and will know whether or not the item is worth what you end up paying (everyone knows a good, hard to find collector item usually retains its value and a lot of times increases in value over time). So, understand the nature of what you are bidding on, items that are no longer readily available and consequently worth whatever the market (supply/demand) dictates it is worth. Subjective yes, but if two or more people desire the same item, a fair market value is automatically assigned to the item in question.

Please do not pay immediately!  Wait for me to issue an accurate paypal invoice.  I usually mail internationally with USPS first class airmail which is $17 for the first LP ($12 for the first 45) and for each additional LP or 45, I calculate based on weight (hence waiting for the accurate invoice). Yes, I do allow multiple item shipping discounts, but again it must be calculated based on the weight.  Rather than get extremely anal with my grading (subjective), I’d rather give a general grading for the vinyl and cover (for LP or 45 pic sleeve) with a brief description of any remarkable features. I will let the photos do most of the talking, however if you would like me to take additional photos for you, I will provided you direct me to the area you need to see the most.  Please provide an email address where I can forward additional photos. 

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase (buyer’s remorse or other), do not post negative feedback until I have had a chance to work something out.  If the problem is strictly about the music on the item, I can’t help you with that!  If it is condition (not accurately explained), then you have a valid reason provided that you asked before bidding!  If you place winning bid, and do not ask about anything you have a question about, then there’s not a lot of room for argument over condition.  Rating an album is completely subjective – but I feel that I grade VERY conservatively even if it means less business.  I’d rather give a VG++ than an EX- even if the majority of people would grade it as EX-.

Please be prepared to pay no later than 5 working days after receiving a final invoice. If it looks like you may be late, please communicate and do not leave me hanging.
