Description

The Wilbur Ware Quintet featuring Johnny Griffin and John Jenkins The Chicago Sound Riverside 12-252 MONO mike and reel blue label deep groove first pressing LP with Junior Mance and Wilbur Campbell or Frankie Dunlop on drums. Very nice VG+ original mono deep groove pressing and a VG+ cover This is the first of only 2 LP's made by Bassist Wilbur Ware as a leader and the other is impossible to find, this one very hard to find as well especially in this nice condition. See all the tune names in the photos above and John Jenkins really blows his alto here on one of the few LP's he was recorded on.
