Description
Commonwealth Jones: Tied Down / Jump and Run. Banner 105, VG to VG- condition: average, even groove wear throughout; some gloss; many thin and light surface scratches; label wear and dirt as pictured. The record has a slight and slow warp that does not affect play; tracks fine. There's light background noise during the lead-in grooves but you don't notice it (at least, I don't) once Ronnie and the band start wailing. Plays strong, with no distortion.
"Commonwealth Jones" is, of course, the legendary Ronnie Dawson. Repros are available but original copies of this fantastic disc are extremely scarce in any condition. This is the only copy I've found in 30+ years of record-hunting in Texas.
