Description
This 2LP set by Wild man fischer is titled "an evening with wild man fischer", it is an original US 1968 issue on the textured ridged tan steamboat reprise label. It was produced by frank zappa.
Commited twice to a mental institution by his mother, he recorded this 2LP set live in the streets of LA in front of the whisky a go go and the hamburger hamlet on sunset strip as well as in the studio. Some of the studio material was spontaneously made up and recorded on the spot. It includes various members of the GTO's and the mothers of invention. Unlike any other album ever made it is total madness from beginning to end.
It could never have been made at any other time but the late 1960's. I remember john peel playing the track "jennifier jones" on his radio show and thinking this is unlike anything i have ever heard before.
Both the discs are in excellent condition as are all the labels.
The very thick gatefold cover has some storage/ringwear mainly on the back, and a little on the front, there are no splits, tears or writing on it. it is fully intact with no spine or seam wear.
