Description
For sale is Wildflowers 4, The New York Loft Jazz Series. It was released in 1977 by Douglas Records and comes in a gate-fold presentation. It is the original first pressing and features Hamiet Bluiett, Julius Hemphill, Jimmy Lyons, Oliver Lake and a host of other musicians. I bought the whole 5 Volume Series new as a cut-out at J. & R. Music, NYC and played them all carefully on a reference quality turntable and cartridge. Like all the records that I buy, I immediately put the vinyl away in a protective inner sleeve like a MFSL or it's equivalent. As a result, the vinyl is Near Mint. The cover is Excellent except for the cut corner and some minor ring wear. Over-all, this is one of the best copies of this album I have seen, and you would be hard pressed to find one like this, because of its rarity. I have more jazz albums as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're all Near Mint. Thanks for looking at my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
