p for sale is a highly sought-after, incredibly scarce 1964 UK first mono pressing of 'The Most of Wilfred "Jackie" Edwards'.This is a genuine early British ska/reggae grail, released on the iconic textured Island Records white-rimmed label with the red cursive logo (Catalogue No: ILP 906). Produced by Island Records founder Chris Blackwell, this compilation captures his finest early hits and is exceptionally difficult to find in clean, playable condition today.Condition Grading:Media/Vinyl Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+)Both Side I and Side II are in beautiful visual condition, retaining a high-gloss sheen. The wax shows brilliant groove definition with only very minor visual paper hairlines/handling marks under strong light, but no deep or feelable scratches. The labels are exceptionally clean, bright, and free of any heavy spindle trailing or center damage. Sleeve Condition: Good (G) / Very Good Minus (VG-)The jacket shows typical vintage age wear, edge creasing, and corner scuffing common for a 60-year-old album. Please note: There is a noticeable split on the front sleeve edge as shown in the photos. The spine and remaining edges are structurally stable, and the rear flipback cover remains fully legible with historic pen markings.
