First EP ever (UK release only) for mr. Will Oldham before Will Oldham. Before Bonnie Prince Billy, before Palace Music and before Palace Songs. This is the 4 track mini album collecting the "Come In" and "Horses" 7inches. : Palace Brothers moniker, digipack with mysterious egyptian design (collage art by Joanne Oldham), february 1994. (the US 2 tracks version under the Palace moniker came out on Drag City in december 1993 and was titled " Come In " : cardboard sleeve cover with 'chicken' design, 2 songs). Track list includes the original version of " Trudy Dies " : never re-issued in any Oldham's further collection (a different 30 secs. shorter version without 'dark church organ' appears in 'Lost Blues And Other Songs') is not available elsewhere except in the Come In US 7".
For many here there are some of the most beautiful Oldham's songs ever.
(long) - Out Of Print -Cover is in VG conditions : a visible tear in low central position (white spot in scan pct), slight glue memory of price tag in back cover and 1cm mark of price almost invisible, slight wear on both low corners and spine.
