   Considered the first proper/official (excluding the Box of Chocolates and Matewan episodes) Oldham's release ever, this 7" is a 'split' release with Smog and the first appearance for Will in the Drag City catalogue : the mythical "Goat Songs".
   This is the only title of the 'mysterious' Sundowners ensamble shared between Will ' Palace Brothers' Oldham and Bill ' Smog ' Callahan before this open 'free-form' project became an exclusive Smog thing on its second chapter and a Movietone one on the third. Actually the one and only collision of those two great artists.
   "Turkey Vulture" starts with both of the heroes busy in a real chours (both? ..looks like the whole record is sung by Will Oldham alone). The two following songs ("Tonight" and "Punk Rock") are kind of Smog's Julius Caesar outtakes 'disfaced' by Oldham's interventions on so called 'effects'. Goats is a carnival collision between thee heroes/monsters. "Tallulah" and "Pozor" are Palace Bros. old style songs bombed here and there by the flying psycho-Callahan.

   The extremely thin paper cover is in excellent conditions (scan).
   Vinyl unplayed, like new.
