I have a 78 Gennette Record of William Jennings Bryan reciting The Lord's Prayer that I purchased at a recent estate sale. The other side has Nearer My God To Thee with the Westminster Quartette (spelling on record). The record is in just great condition. There is a spot above the word Gennette where I removed an attached label of someone's name, guess I should have left it alone and a couple minor surface scratches. The label is a much darker blue than what is showing in the label pictures as you can see in the full record pictures. It is also not faded as it looks in the label pictures. That is glare from the camera. William Jennings Bryan (1860 – 1925) was the Democratic Party nominee for President of the United States in 1896, 1900 and 1908, a lawyer, and the 41st United States Secretary of State under President Woodrow Wilson. One of the most popular speakers in American history, he was noted for a deep, commanding voice. A leading figure in the Democratic Party. I also am listing a record of President Woodrow Wilson's Campaign from 1912.
I purchase items from auctions,estate sales and etc. The items remain in my home for about two weeks. My home is not smoke free, if this a problem DO NOT bid.
