Unknown / Undocumented Psych / Prog / Folk Album!  

     A private press lp that has somehow slipped under the radar for the last 40 years. It's pretty amazing that an lp with a cover looking like this, and music that sounds like this does, doesn't seem to have been documented anywhere. Having pressed the record in 1974, label owner Tom and artist William sold this lp without much success. Having been shunned by local distribution and record stores, Tom took some with him on a trip to the West Coast only to offer them to mom and pop bookstores.  This record was NEVER serviced to radio, and I've been told had many issues getting any type of sales due to the fact store owners were worried about the lack of vocals on the record.  For the most part this album was only sold in private bookshops in random cities taken on the path to San Fran, so this may explain why record collectors are still in the dark about this one.  This is a SEALED ORIGINAL copy of this fantastic album!! It's flat, and comes with the cool insert pictured below. The inset picture came from my personal copy, as did the pic's of the vinyl.  I have given very good and long sound samples for each side. My words will never be as strong as the music, so listen for yourself while you look at the pictures of this wonderful offering. I have taken the samples from my personal copy.  The copy  you get will be sealed. Very rare. Each side is made up of multiple suites that play like one long song.  There are no visible breaks in the music, the vinyl itself looks as if one song was pressed.  Electric guitar, acoustic, electric violen and other instruments are used to form this amazing musical soundscape. It's a fantasic progressive piece that contains tons of movement.  Sounds like Pink Floyd at times, at other times it's killer acid folk, and can be compared to many UK or US prog folk acts of the time.  It's unlike much else out there.  Side 1 is FANTASTIC with solo electric and acoustic guitar accompanied with electric violen and effects bouncing from speaker to speaker.  It eventually builds into a drum backed hard rock blaster with an electric guitar playing away on top.  The end of side one involves a heavy bass track with electric guitar once again playing away.  No filler, it's really great from start to finish. Side B is similar, with more of an avanteguard feel like free jazz, and a touch of rural rock vibes. It's really hard to desribe it, just listen to the clips and enjoy.

The soundclips are taken from a used copy, as I didn't want to open the sealed copy.  This is where some of the surface noise comes from.  I have included 2 x 9 MINUTE CLIPS of EACH SIDE to help you hear and understand the movement on this lp.  PLEASE LET THE CLIP PLAY.  Clip 1 is of Side 1.  The hard driving guitar comes in after the 2 or 3 minutes of solo electric and acoustic guitar, and this section can be heard in Clip 2.  Near the end of the clip you'll hear parts of the strong bass and electric portion, which can also be heard in Clip 3.  Clip 4 is of side 2.  There are also some very nice folk moments on side 2 that I somehow forgot to include within the clip.  I have edited the sound sample to help condense the time required, so some of the parts to this song are longer/build for more time before the bridge etc...  The music builds over more bars then the sample, so even as good as this sample sounds, in my opinion it still doesn't offer the full experience of this lp.  I can send an MP3 to people if required, for now here is auctionplayer samples.
