A rightfully revered session, one of his greatest in a massive catalog. Willie’s voice is seasoned, but relatively youthful, full strength. The material and performances are understated and beautiful.
This is a quite rare LP in this original incarnation. The reissue is 10-20x more common in my experience in the racks.
Visually grade: strongest VG++ some sheen imperfection from the factory but very little in the way of wear. Someone reputable might call it visually NM, but I’ll stay conservative.
Jacket: Strong to strongest VG+ original textured cream colored jacket is quite clean, there is a notched cutout in the bottom right corner. Tight seams, no writing, minor run wear. Some minor browning in a few spots of the rear slick.
