Willie "The Lion" Smith 78 RPM jazz piano Commodore set





"Piano Solos by Willie Smith, the Lion of the Piano." Five of the seven records in in the original sleeve of this aclaimed 78 RPM Commodore album recorded in 1939.  The original jacket is in fair (frayed on the bottom, wear on other edges).  The records are described below.

Shipping   Purchases will be shipped within 5 business days using USPS media rate, which takes 2 to 9 days for delivery. We will combine shipping when possible for buyers of multiple records at a reduced shipping charge.   About Us   We have a sizable collection of classic jazz 78 RPM records, many made in the 1920s and 1930s, to be offered for sale over the next several months.   We make conservative ratings of quality with the goal of pleasing buyers, but we cannot guarantee that every rating is perfect. All sales are final. Our ratings: E-virtually flawless; VG-almost perfect but has a few small, light scuffs or scratches that should not affect play; G-a few moderate scratches and/or scuffs that should have little (perhaps no) impact on sound quality; F-obvious scratches or scuffs that likely are audible; P-obvious scratches or other defects that are audible and may make the record unplayable. I no longer have a 78-rpm player to verify sound but base ratings on thorough visual inspection and experience.   Terms of Sale   If records are not as described, we will accept returns, postage paid by the buyer.
