Description
1984 Folklyric compilation of recordings originally recorded between 1929 and 1940. With Gerald Clark's Night Owls. Houdini, of course, is a giant of Trinidad Calypso music. Folklyric, of course, is a division of Arhoolie Records. As is normal with the label, superb liner notes from John Cowley. Vinyl is near mint, as is sleeve. Original shrink wrap intact. Folklyric 9040. My favorite track is probably Poor But Ambitious, but that may be a personal problem. Hard to find this vinyl in such good shape.
