Description
This is a Wilson Audiophile double LP of Sir William Walton “Belshazzar’s Feast Etc.” featuring Andre Previn with the London Symphony Orchestra Chorus and London Symphony Orchestra. The selections include “Belshazzar’s Feast,” and “Improvisations on An Impromptu of Benjamin Britten.” The catalog number is WEMI-001 and this 2-LP set is long out of print.
This is a magnificently done reissue double LP with a beautiful fold out cover. Although the record is not sealed the cover is in Excellent to Near Mint condition with a few minor imperfections and very minor dents on the corners opposite the spine. Other than one spindle mark on one of the labels, three out of the four sides of the discs appear to be unplayed, but I’ll call them Near Mint since the record is not sealed. I got this as a promo in the late ‘80s or early ‘90s – I can’t remember exactly when.
I have been collecting records and CDs for over 45 years and have decided to begin selling items from my collection as I no longer have the time to listen or the room to keep all my records and discs. Keep your eyes open for many more records up for auction as time goes on. All of my records have been fanatically well kept over the decades in a smoke-free home.
