John Fenstermaker plays French Organ Music (KM 4561)
Released in 1979, recorded by David Wilson, this is an authoritative presentation of many of the voices of one of the great American classic organs, the 1934/1952 4 manual, 94-rank Aeolian-Skinner augmented by two later Casavant divisions, all 123 ranks at that time played from a 5-manual Ruffatti console. Fenstermaker plays: Votre Bonté, Grand Dieu (Claude Balbastre), Ofertoire & Muzète (Jean-François Dandrieu); Suite du Premier Ton (Antoine Guilan); Litanies (Jehan Alain); Choral, Symphonie II (Louis Vierne); Adagio, Symphonie VI (Charles-Marie Widor).
