*RARE FACTORY SAMPLE*

This NEAR MINT UK pressing is on custom EMI labels: PCS 7201/2/3

Labels 1, 3 & 5 each carry a round cornered genuine 'FACTORY SAMPLE' sticker.

Housed in an unlaminated gatefold cover with 3 x printed inner-sleeves & poster.

Matrix numbers: YEX 963-2U/4-1U, 5-2U, 6-2U, 7-1U & 8-1U
Stamper numbers: 2/TO, 1/GO, 1/AD, 1/PA, 2/AD & 2/AO

Visual: EXCELLENT

All surfaces are MINT viewed in natural light with just a few wispy paper hairlines visible only directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Otherwise these are pristine discs with no marks or any scratches to either side.
On the turntable, the discs each have a slight edgewarp which does not affect play.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Played just TWICE this is a superb 'as new' sounding set with no trace of crackle or groovewear distortion in either channel or on any track.
All run-ins & all bands are completely silent and there are no clicks, jumps or repeats anywhere.


Cover: VERY GOOD PLUS

Clean & very strong heavy duty cover with some light rubbing from storage (mainly to the rear panel) but no heavy creases.
The corners have light bumps & minor touch-up and there is some light wear to the opening edge but no major damage.
The inside, all seams & the spine are all clean, strong & undamaged.

Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp.

All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
