WINSTON CHURCHILL - Speeches and Memoirs. 12 Vinyl LPs - Boxed set (complete)
A boxed set of twelve LP vinyl records of his famous speeches and memories, in his own voice. For example, his 1940 House of Commons speech "The Finest Hour". There are twelve records in individual sleeves, in an embossed slipper box. It comes with a 58 page book containing a comprehensive index of all 24 sides, and 28 pages of remarkable photos on glossy paper.

Condition: Records - I have not played every record (no record player any more) but none appear to be scratched and they certainly worked the last time they were played in the 1970s. None are warped and have been stored flat in a dry dark cupboard. Box - The box is OK, but has some damage due to age. It is a bit faded, some worn corners, and even a little silverfish damage. But it is presentable and fully functional. Book - The book contents on gloss paper (photos, index, appraisal by Arthur Bryant) is excellent, but the cover has detached from the pages which are still bound securely. There is some browning on non-gloss pages.
Photos describe the condition. Item is located in Crows Nest (North Sydney) for pick up, or i will post worldwide at purchasers additional expense. 12 vinyl LPs and so is heavy at about 5kg.
