Winston O’Boogie – Bag Records 5072 (Stereo)

Rare John Lennon Pseudonym Release • Stereo LP • NM/NM • Shrink

🔷 Scarce LP issued under the pseudonym “Winston O’Boogie,” a name John Lennon used throughout the 1970s on session credits, production notes, and side‑projects. Releases under this alias are highly collectible due to their unusual origins and limited distribution.

🔷 Bag Records 5072, Stereo — a low‑visibility, small‑batch label/number pairing associated with specialty and underground Lennon‑related material.

🔷 These Winston O’Boogie titles typically include session‑adjacent content, alternate mixes, interview material, or Lennon‑connected performances, depending on the pressing. Collectors prize them for their rarity and their connection to Lennon’s off‑the‑grid creative output.

🔷 A fascinating piece of Lennon‑related ephemera — ideal for Beatles collectors, Lennon completists, and fans of unusual pseudonym releases.

🔷 Only one other copy currently listed on eBay — graded VG+. This NM in shrink copy is the premium example available.

Condition

🔷 Jacket: NM — still in the original shrink, beautifully preserved with sharp corners and no meaningful wear. A vintage $9.99 retail price sticker remains on the shrink, adding authentic period charm and provenance.

🔷 Vinyl: NM visually, glossy and extremely clean. Side 2 has some light clicks/pops during the first track, and a few additional isolated clicks later in the LP, but the majority of the record plays cleanly with no ongoing noise. Side 1 plays beautifully throughout.

🔷 Inner Sleeve: No original paper sleeve was present it was in a poly sleeve (kept with sleeve). I’ve added a new polylined paper sleeve so the record is stored safely in archival‑quality protection.
