"Meditation Dub", this is a great Dub album produced by Winston Riley and featuring dub cuts to many of his classic rhythms including "Purify Your Heart", (Tk. 2), and a killer jazzy/far eastern cut of "Stalag", (Tk, 10), a beautiful mellow Dub LP from 1977.

This is the first pressing, the matrices are: MEDITATION DUB SIDE A 8-6-77 CUT 1 and MEDITATION DUB SIDE B 8-6-77 CUT 1, it is on the MUMMY label and not the later Techniques label, many of the Techniques copies are an entirely different cut with totally different matrices/stampers.

Visually the vinyl is excellent with just some feint scuffing, the pressing isn't bad for a Jamaican press of the period, with only minor pits.

Play Grading

1. Plays extremely well, just a touch of surface noise and a few tiny crackles.
2. Plays extremely well, minimal surface noise and just a hint of crackle.
3. Plays great with minimal surface noise.
4. Plays excellently, minimal surface noise.
5. Plays excellently, minimal surface noise.

6. Plays very well, just a touch of surface noise/crackle.
7. Plays very well, just very slight surface noise.
8. Plays very well, just a little very slight surface noise/crackle.
9. Plays great just a touch of surface noise.
10. Plays excellently, minimal surface noise.

Both labels are excellent.

The sleeve has slight wear to the corners, and the top seam, a few creases and slight ring wear.

Records play graded on a Michell Orbe deck fitted with a Techno Arm and a Van Den Hul MC2 cartridge..Records professionally cleaned on a VPI record cleaner.
