Hailing from Portland Oregon Wipers formed in 1977 by main man Greg Sage but unwilling to tour and publicise never achieved the recognition deserved, a big influence on fellow north easterner Kurt Cobain who with Nirvana covered Wipers songs and asked Sage to open for them on tours (not accepted), this their seventh album won them massive success throughout Europe with songs that are both raucous and works of tormented beauty, This ultra rare US Restless Records Original first pressing is in Excellent condition both sleeve and disc, it comes in a clear poly cover securely packaged in thick recycled cardboard, as do all my albums; Check 'Em Out ! ! !
