For auction:
Wire - „154“, EMI Harvest SHSP 4105, 1979, first UK pressing in excellent condition EX. Comes with the rare 4 track 7“ PSR 444. This is Wire’s third studio album, released in the UK in September 1979 by Harvest.
What makes this a first UK pressing?
• LP and bonus 7“ with white 154 designed label
• Only early first copies came with this bonus four track EP, matrix stamped SPSR 444 A-1 and SPSR 444 B-1, in black die-cut sleeve
• Inner sleeve with rounded corners with lyrics, band info and credits
• No printer credits
• No track duration on labels or sleeves
• Matrix/Runout stamped crossed out SHVL 819 A-1, corrected to SHSP 4105 A-1 & crosses out SVHL 819 B-2, corrected to SHSP 4105 B-2
Vinyl has been played, few minor light scuffs, not affecting the playback, label with few spindle marks, in EXCELLENT condition.
Bonus 7” EP is in NEAR MINT condition
Inner sleeve with very little wear, no seam splitting, EXCELLENT condition.
Cover with some wear and signs of handling, some ring wear, nice fully legible spine, VERY GOOD plus condition.
Play graded on a Thorens TD 160, Ortofon VMS20E MkII, B&W 685 speakers.
NOTE - I am also auctioning the Wire albums - Pink Flag & Chairs missing both UK first pressings.
Grading as per RRPG. Returns accepted.
Postage: tracked and signed UK / worldwide, combined postage possible, posted in professional mailers with stiffeners, vinyl will be removed from the cover and placed behind cover in a plastic sleeve.
Europe/Rest of the free world is £15.00, international tracked/signed for. Postage to Russia with Royal Mail currently at £16.50
